It's a BIG River

On occasion we jump in the car and take Ana acorss the river to Minneapolis. While it's a short drive (20 min) there's some kind of spiritual barrier that exists between the two cities that keeps people from taking quick jaunts to the other side. Although I work in Minneapolis and live in St. Paul, it's not uncommon to find people on either side of the river that haven't visited their twin city in years. Ana, luckily, is not one of those people. We took her to the Mill City Farmer's Market last weekend where she got to feed a goat, hold a chick and then meander up to the 8th floor of the Guthrie Theatre where they have a room made entirely of amber glass. Jen had minor heart attacks while Ana walked fearlessly to the edge of the room and looked down at the landscape below. She even stomped along the glass floor, where beneath her, she could literally see nothing but the ground and her feet seemingly suspended in the air. She's afraid of bedtime, but not heights, it seems.
