Bubbles are hard for toddlers. They don't know how to blow air; hence, they don't know how to blow bubbles. Ana was attracted to bubbles, but repelled and frustrated by the process. Whoever invented this machine should earn millions (although it was probabley invented by someone who already has millions in the bank, because who the hell has enough time on their hands to invent a better bubble blowing system? Someone with a trust fund, that's who...)
