Stan Lee Would Love This...

At 20-months old Ana has been to a comic-book convention, five comic-book shops, watched several bootleg episodes of Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, and had to survive hours of her father reading Daredevil aloud at the kitchen table. Despite all this, she never showed much of an interest in comic-books...until now. A quick moment of self-discolsure: at thirty-three I keep a "short-box" at the side of my bed, so I can read comic-books at night. Ana has just started taking an interest in my habit and a special interest in having my old issues of Spider-Man read to her before she goes to bed. I'm careful about what she reads, however: no Punisher, for example. The campiness of Spider-Man comics from the 1960's and early 80's seems just about right. Will this become a real "thing" for her? A father can only hope...and pray.

Holy Toledo! Check out the video, below!
