After twenty-eight hours of labor, Ana Candelaria entered the world with a few quick screams and a lot of blinking. It was a water-birth at St. Joe's Hospital. From the window, we could see the double steeples of Assumption Church. Jen did an incredible job -- I was in awe, and fell in love with her all over again. Below are some photos of Ana's first forty-eight hours of life. Thanks so much for all your love, support and well-wishes. More to come, so stay tuned!
Yeah!!!!!! Congratulations Jen and Max!!! And I can't wait to meet Ana! Y'all look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHey - I guess I can do a little blogging. All of the pictures came up on my screen now. What a beauty! She looks so sweet when she's sleeping and then knocks you out with those amazing eyes when she's awake. She does not look particularly hairy though (which you said you were expecting). A good surprise, I think.
ReplyDeleteI won't go on and on since I already e-mailed too. Love Series 1, and will stay tuned...
Hey!
ReplyDeleteIt took your techno-incompetent stepmom a few days to figure this out but congratulations. The pictures are beautiful and we cannot wait to see that gorgeous little girl in person. God bless the three of you!

Hi guys,
ReplyDeleteHard to believe Ana is pushing two weeks old already! She is aging quite gracefully! Loved the hair dryer photo and story. We love you and cannot wait to see her in person!
