We've been hanging out by ourselves this week, just getting used to the new flow of things (although Ana did enjoy a quick visit from her grandpa Mike and Kathy). So far Ana lives her life in three-hour intervals. She sleeps, poops, pees, mumbles, and then sleeps again. She does not cry too often, but we suspect this will eventually change as her 'vocabulary' grows. Ana makes a myriad of funny, disturbed, angry, shocked and annoyed faces throughout the day, as she gets used to her body on "the outside." Jen and I have joked that we are living with a frat boy, because she sleeps all day and drinks all night. So far it's been a blast (although we are both happily exhausted)!

You should get her one of those helmets with the straws, then you won't need to get out of bed.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy those moments, they won't come around again. Glad to see happy healthy faces. And of course a special shout out to Jen, Good Job! Lots of Love for the new family member. xoxo Lia
