Warning: if you don't like big snakes, you won't like this post (I'm talking to you mom). My new co-worker puts in a weekend shift at the Reptile Shop in St. Paul and he offered to let Ana handle some of creatures this weekend, knowing how much she likes creepy things (worms, snakes, ants and caterpillars). Ana was in heaven. She was delighted to touch frogs, snakes, lizards and even a scorpion. For whatever reason, this stuff does not creep Ana out. A snake ran up her sleeve and she laughed. She even asked me if we could get her a lizard for her 4th birthday. I said: "We'll talk about it." The truth is, I think my wife would leave me if I brought a lizard into the house, but how can you tell that to a 3 year old?
