We've had a record amount of snowfall this year -- 86 inches! Snow, of course, brings puddles galore once the temperature begins to rise. Ana and I set off to explore all this excess water a few weeks ago and she found that the sewer in the alley was rushing underneath us. She asked: "What's that?" I said, "A sewer." She asked, "Why?" I didn't know how to explain it, so I just blurted out "It takes our tub water and poop away." Her eyes got wide and she yelled: "WHAT?" Maybe she wasn't ready for this dose of truth.
