A big day for Ana, as she began day care today. She is in a class of two other infants at the Center for Child Development, six minutes from our house. It's a great place; we feel lucky to have her in such good hands. After dropping Ana off, Jen and I went to breakfast (before I went to work). When Jen picked Ana up later, Donna, Jen's primary caretaker, shared these notes with us: "Ana is such a sweet baby -- so alert and loves to be near her peers. I love how she carries on little conversations. So chatty!" Below are some photos of the big day.
Ana moments before being launched into the world of child care.
Mom and Dad at breakfast (no one pooped or spat up on us, and we both got to eat at the same time).
Ana returns home, to her new favorite past-time: sucking her two first fingers.
Ana and mom, relaxing at the end of the day.
She'll be coming home with tattoos in no time.
